Here I sit, my daughter, wife and a beer. Life is good. It did not take long to get back into 'the world'. My priorities have shifted a bit and solidified. It is difficult to relate to some people and some aspects of 'the American way'. It's hard to watch tv, especially news and shows. There is a lot of hype, fakeness and sillines. I'll try and spend more time taking Bella on walks.

My butt is home back in the States. I have seen bumper stickers from vets that say, 'Half my heart is in Iraq'. Rest assure, my heart and all the other pieces are not in Iraq. Although being home has been a bit of a culture shock. Commercialism is everywhere. Americans spend a lot of their time on fulfilling 'wants'. I do miss the greenery and fresh air though. Its hard to beat crisp mornings with pine scenting the air.
